03 Mar A Multigenerational Discussion of A Female Gaze

Join us at MARS Gallery over a vino and sandwich for a rigorous discussion for International Women’s Day, Wednesday 8 March at 1pm. The event will feature a conversation between artists exhibiting in A Female Gaze and veteran arts curator and director Maudie Palmer AO. Across her decades-long career, Palmer has contributed to the arts in Victoria as a curator, strategic manager and as the director of a number of cultural institutions such as the Heide Museum, the TarraWarra Museum of Art and the Ian Potter Museum of Art at the University of Melbourne. Her film Birrarung was exhibited at MARS Gallery in 2016.

This conversation between generations promises to be an exciting celebration of women in the arts. Everyone is welcome!
