MARS is delighted to introduce Iluka Sax-Williams, a proud Tibrean (Torres Strait) and Taungurung emerging artist for NAIDOC Week at MARS.
His practice is across Indigenous visual art, dance, and design. Informed by his strong connections to his “Torres Strait Islander and Taungurung culture… Iluka is dedicated to sharing and enhancing awareness of First Nations Art, Culture, Knowledge and History of the surrounding sacred lands”. Iluka’s work has been recently commissioned for the Making the Metro Tunnel exhibition at Domain House.
