Congratulations to Alexis Beckett who was commissioned to create an artwork for seven aluminium laser cut screens. Her design was inspired by her own embossed relief images and designs in paper. For these panels, she created a work centred around the local bird, flora and fauna of the Bayside area.

Alexis Beckett responded to the brief of a ‘Nightingale’ theme – a direct reflection on the location of the building which is situated on the corner of Nightingale Street and Chapel Street.
In consultation with ADA, Terry Harper Architects and QAQ, these beautiful screens were installed in October 2019.
