27 Apr Atong Atem: Africa Fashion at NGV International

Atong Atem continues to exhibit with major international institutions! Opening in May, the NGV will present Africa Fashion, a landmark exhibition developed by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

The exhibition moves through major historical junctures in African and diaspora histories, illustrating the centrality of fashion in art, agency and culture. 

Africa Fashion opens May 31 at NGV International.

Atem’s work continues to show at the Wereldmuseum, Rotterdam, in A World in Common, developed by the Tate Modern in London. Adelaide Perry Gallery in Sydney will also show Atem’s major series, Banksia, from May 1 to 18.
