21 Mar Celebrating Melbourne fashion week: Atong Atem x Romance Was Born

Atong Atem is releasing a brand-new capsule collection in collaboration with Sydney design icons Romance Was Born and the not-for-profit organisation The Social Studio. This limited-edition range achieves something rare – harmonising fine art and fashion along with the opportunity for social change.

Atong’s stunning art draws from her local community through natural items found on her walks around Merri Creek during her Melbourne lockdown experience in 2020. Romance Was Born has designed a collection building off these artworks, and the Social Studio manufactured the pieces in their Ethical Clothing Australia-accredited studio.
