Congratulations to Jud Wimhurst who was commissioned on a public art project for the new development The Lyric in Fitzroy.

Wimhurst’s artwork references the history of the Lyric Theatre and reflects the sense of community to flourish at the new residential building. ADA is excited to work with SMA Projects and Balmain Co to see this work realised. Jud Wimhurst is creating a narrative based low relief sculptural mural that depicts a fictional tableau of some of the former residents of the Lyric Theatre building in the process of “Moving Out” to make way for the new residents of the property.
