MARS is proud to announce the National Gallery of Victoria has acquired five works from Josh Muir’s ‘STILL HERE’ series.
In 2015 Muir was the recipient of the Telstra National Indigenous and Torres Straight Islander Art Award – Youth award and the Hutchinson Indigenous Fellowship, through which he is currently undertaking a 12-month residency at the Victorian College of the Arts. Muir’s work has also been acquired by the Koorie Heritage Trust, the National Gallery of Australia and the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
