Josh Muir has recently been featured in Blooloop. The article ‘Josh Muir’s WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND: Bringing together storytelling, street art and augmented reality’ discusses his current exhibition ‘What’s on your mind?’ at Bendigo Art Gallery.

The exhibition investigates the role of digital media in shaping our current understandings of issues pertaining to the self and our natural world. It presents a new narrative and movement in contemporary Indigenous Australian art through augmented reality and explores themes around mental health and identity.

Muir has been a recipient of the Telstra National Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander Youth Art Award. His work is held in important national collections including the Koorie Heritage Trust, the National Gallery of Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.

Josh Muir will present an exhibition of new works in March 2020 at MARS Gallery.
