At 7PM the exhibition to be officially opened by Stacie Piper, Bunjilaka Project Officer, Museum Victoria, followed by a traditional smoking ceremony, concluding with a short thank you from the artist
The Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Youth Artist of the year award winner Josh Muir has created a new series of unique artworks that celebrate his indigenous heritage, his future and his love of the Fitzroy and Collingwood community.
The Lyric Emerging Artist Gallery is an initiative created by SMA Projects to support local emerging artists in the City of Yarra. The Artist in Residency Program is a 2-month rotation where emerging artists are provided with a studio and gallery space to prepare and exhibit their works.
