Laura Woodward has recently completed the installation of an ambitious public art work in the Docklands. ‘Murmur’ is a cloud-like installation generated from 20,000 small points of light created with fibre optic lighting. Volumetric animations flow through the cloud, inspired by naturally occurring patterns such as ocean currents, storm formations, wind movements, and flocking behaviour.
