Photo Basel: Atong Atem

MARS Gallery will soon present a solo exhibition of work by emerging artist and photographer Atong Atem at Photo Basel.

The curated exhibition at Photo Basel 2022 will showcase large scale photographs that examine the artists continued exploration of identity, and the ways in which we construct images and stories to understand ourselves and our surroundings.

MARS will exhibit selected works from her recent Surat series, To be Real Series as well as self portraits and never before seen photographic works created for Photo Basel 2022.

Photo Basel is Switzerland’s first and only art fair dedicated to photography based art.
