Adaptation No 1 (Emotional Tax) is a speculative artwork adapted from Ramírez' novel in progress Majority Report. The work is inspired by a scene in which the protagonist witnesses a teenager marking a table with a correction pen, leaving behind the speech bubble depicted in the work: 'WHY WON'T ANYBODY FUCK ME?". Ramírez adapted this juvenile gesture into a tax invoice, reflecting the administrative themes of the novel.
