MARS Gallery is proud to announce that award-winning First Nations artist Jenna Lee (Larrakia, Wardaman, and KarraJarri) will premiere a new solo exhibition for Art Paris 2027, Guest of Honour - Australia platform, presented under the glass dome of the Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées, Paris, 1 – 4 April.
Faithful to the fair’s regional yet cosmopolitan identity and its focus on discovery, the 29th edition of Art Paris will mark a new milestone in 2027 with Australia invited as guest of honour for the first time, shining a spotlight on contemporary Australian art.
This will be MARS' debut at Art Paris, and we are excited to champion Jenna, a young, female Larrakia First Nations artist. Jenna continues to trail blaze as a leading internationally recognised First Nations artist through her success in awards, acquisitions, exhibitions, and art residencies.
With the Australia focus curated by Daria de Beauvais, Senior Curator and Head of International Relations at the Palais de Tokyo, Art Paris aims to highlight the wealth and vitality of Australia's artistic landscape, as well as the sheer diversity of practices and voices that shape it today.
