Hold Your Horses by Kenny encourages reflection on the art of slowing down. While slowing down can feel like a daunting prospect when we have such anxiety about falling behind, the artist playfully invites us to shift our focus away from what may be lost towards what we stand to gain.
Kenny has also completed a fantastic mural commission which spans across each floor of the stairwell located in The Office Project, a four-level building on 171 High Street, Northcote.
The client tasked MARS to activate stairwell wayfinding through intriguing and playful art designed to engage curiosity. Kenny completed a painting series of signs on each level to evoke a sense of exploration.
