MARS is delighted to share that Meagan Streader will be exhibiting at The Substation with an installation work, A Residual Pulse, from May 21st to August 22nd.

A Residual Pulse transforms The Substation into an immersive environment shaped by its hidden architectures and atmospheric systems. Activating the physical fabric of The Substation to draw attention to the building’s history. It invites audiences into a world which explores the quiet convergence between past, present and future—as a site of ongoing transformation.

Meagan has exhibited both nationally and internationally in major exhibitions for the National Gallery of Victoria: Australia (Melbourne Now, 2023), Carriageworks (Sydney Contemporary, 2023), Melbourne Design Week (2023, 2024), HOTA (2019), Dark Mofo (2019) and Amsterdam Light Festival (2015). Her solo exhibitions include presentations at MARS (Victoria), Conners Conners (Victoria), Stockroom Kyneton (Victoria) and Metro Arts Gallery (QLD). Meagan has recently finished her residency at The Cité Internationale des Arts.

A Residual Pulse is curated by Nuala Furtado.
