Born in Melbourne, 1986, Bowers is a Melbourne based artist working out of his studio in the Abbotsford Convent. Bowers graduated from RMIT in 2007.

Working primarily in painting and drawing, Bowers works are visual conduits that transport the viewer to warmer climes and dappled morning strolls of contemporary life. Having honed a duality of colour and texture that is both hazily sun-faded yet crisp and clear, Bowers' work evokes a sense of the sanguine: you are both immediately on a foreign holiday yet catapulted back to the street you grew up on.

Over the past two decades, Bowers has presented numerous solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions throughout Australia and internationally, including in New York, London, and Singapore. His work is held in private collections in USA (The Manley House, Miami) and UK. Bowers has been selected for notable art awards including the Bayside Art Prize [2026], Wyndham Art [2026] and National Capital Art Prize [2022].
