After relocating to Paris in 2024, Zhu Ohmu was accepted into POUSH, an art centre with studio spaces for over 250 artists, housed in a former perfume practice. During her time in Paris, Zhu was immersed in a vibrant community of creatives across a range of disciplines.
Zhu will be returning to Paris this year, completing an artist-in-residence at Cité Internationale des Arts in Le Marais, courtesy of the Art Gallery of New South Wales!
During her three-month residency, Zhu will be researching art conservation practices in European museums, and incorporating those techniques into her own ceramic building process.
