Congratulations to Telly Tuita on his participation in the group exhibition Tau o Mai | Journeys with Mai showing at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge (UK) between 17 October 2025 – 8 February 2026.

Telly was invited by the internationally renowned collective, SAVAGE K’LUB headed by Rosanna Raymond of the Pacific Sisters to participate in the significant upcoming exhibition Tau o Mai | Journeys with Mai.

Tau o Mai | Journeys with Mai is a partnership project between the National Portrait Gallery, London; Bradford District Museums and Galleries; the Fitzwilliam Museum, in collaboration with the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Cambridge; and The Box, Plymouth.

Telly is involved in the reimagining of the Octagon Gallery at the Fitzwilliam Museum as a space that brings the sights, sounds and presence of the Moana into dialogue with Reynolds' portrait of Mai, a Raiatean man who travelled with Captain Cook to Britain in the 18th century. Telly's new body of work offers a strong and personal response to the themes at the heart of this project.

Telly is also exhibiting an installation of three video works, Tēvolo Divas Perform Their Aria for Pops of Positive, an initiative to fill empty retail spaces across the city with temporary, creative installations. in Wellington, New Zealand. The colourful, dynamic display runs day and night in 24 – 26 Courtenay Place, Te Aro.
