Atong Atem and Jenna Lee in Latrobe Art Institute

MARS is proud to share that Dust #1 by Atong Atem, and Still light with Larrakia ochre and a dillybag work by Jenna Lee will be shown in 'My Blood Sings Old Songs' at the Latrobe Art Institute, Bendigo between 20 May – 9 August 2026. The opening event will be on Friday 22 May, 5 – 7pm.

Curated by Maya Hodge (Lardil), 'My Blood Sings Old Songs' gathers artists who capture what is not always said but deeply felt. The works in this exhibition resonate over time, unravelling layers of the body and the quiet weight of being seen, where movement becomes a vessel for remembrance.
