Atong's work, Men In This Town 04, will join the collection at the National Portrait Gallery alongside Australia's most distinguished artists.
The Men In This Town series, launched in 2024, is held in international collections including the AkzoNobel Art Foundation and Schulting Art Collection, the Netherlands. Congratulations Atong!
Atong is currently exhibiting in Cats & Dogs at the National Gallery of Victoria, Shared Skin at ACE Gallery in Adelaide until April 2025, and A World In Common: Contemporary African Photography at C/O Berlin until May 2025.
